Just answer their questions ...
Several weeks ago now, when I was on Hamilton Island releasing my latest best selling book, I was lucky enough to bump into Allan and Barbara Pease (from the best selling Body Language books).
Allan and Barbara were great to both speak to, and they gave of their time in a genuinely friendly and courteous way.
As we were discussing authoring, I asked Allan his secrets on how to write best selling books. His answer was simply to answer their questions …
Allan went on to explain that he used to write books that he was passionate about. The book sales were low (by his standards), but then he worked out the secret – you must write about other people’s passions, and what excites your audience (or your customer).
Allan said that he used to write down all of the questions he was asked – then, he just answered them in his books. This really was a gem of information, which made me think about my own books, and the services that I provide.
What about in your business, or your role; are you aware of what excites your clients? Are you aware of how to deliver that to them. Are you aware of what questions they have, and do you have the answers? What are they passionate about?
And although you might answer yes to the above questions, don’t forget there might be more to learn about your clients and other ways to answer their questions.
By the way, keep an eye on my web site for the interview with Allan.

So, I asked myself, what questions would most buinsess owners have. The most common would be "How do I market my business"?
Well, an event that I heard about recently, which will be put on in Brisbane by a great mate of mine, Paul Dwyer, will answer all of your marketing questions. There is an attachment in the email to check it out.
If you can get along, don't miss it. Paul is a fantastic presenter and marketing mind.
